Handmade doll of Athenian woman dressed in the traditional greek costume, copy of an original greek folk attire, is an ideal souvenir from Greece.
In these representation she wares a loose-fitting, yellow cotton or silk shirt with long sleeves, decorated with lace at the neck and cuffs, over which a richly embroidered long jacket of claret velvet. On the bottom she wares an ankle-length yellow skirt, made of silk and decorated with white lace. On her head she wares the kalpaki, a toque, traditionally worn by the unmarried woman, and a white veil for church.
